After market pioneer stereo disconnects /loses power in truck.

I don't use it anymore now but before it would mostly work then go out and usually just by gently pressing the face or the release button it would kick it back to life. Is this a common problem with car stereos?

If it's a removable face radio..... there is a plug connection that makes when the face plate is in position. It's possible it could be dirty or corroded. Possibly the face is not snapping properly into it's locked position.

Not a wire behind the unit but the front contact block where the face plate connects to the rest of the unit . Try cleaning that contact block In your video it looks like that is your problem or as PJmax said the face plate is not seating properly
