new adhesive for IR blaster?

I have a number of old IR blasters that are no longer sticking well to my tvs (they fall off from time to time). Which adhesive should I use on the face of the blaster (to hold the blaster in front of my tv ir receiver) that will not block the IR signal? Would elmer's rubber cement be a good choice? Other options?

Thanks.

I use a glue from Scotch but it's a pro formula.

A clear contact cement would be a good choice.
Duco cement is good.
If you need to mount the eye directly over the IR port..... you can use clear double sided tape.

Ah, thanks. Clear double sided tape might make the most sense since there's less risk of my making a mess. I guess scotch double sided would work fine, agree? Or am I better off using gorilla clear double sided?

If it's fairly smooth.... clean both surfaces well and regular double sided scotch tape will be fine.
