Buzzing in TV

As of last night I started getting an intermittent buzzing on our TV that only pops up when there's actually sound coming out from the program I'm watching - people talking, music, background noise, etc - if there's nothing there the buzzing falls silent. I thought the TV itself had gone bad and replaced it with a spare, but the buzzing sound continued, which is mystifying. We have a Roku device attached - could that be the problem? Or is there an issue with the cabling?

Try unplugging everything a minute; TV, receiver, Roku... Then see if the problem continues.

Is it possible to get 3+ channels output from two channels source?

So I've got this Panasonic SA-PT750 player/receiver that I actually referenced in my last post that I'm wondering why it doesn't use the center and surround speakers when outputting sound from other media sources. I'm guessing because it requires more than 2 channels that for instance one of my my Bluray players outputs via RCA cables and the other HDMI which has to go through my TV first which then routes to the receiver. Do some of these receivers take two channels and output them across more than 2? Would there be a setting? Or do you just have to use 3+ audio signals directly from this player only as it appears to have only two channel aux input? Read More
