Tv Not Switching On
SIZE=3]large[/SIZE] arial
Hello and happy new year
Ihave a problem with a ITT Kokia ct5110uk set.
when first switched on at the on off switch the set comes on to
stand by with the led on.But when you try to use the romote
the set clicks rapidly and the led flashes rapidly and the set goes
dead with no stand by led on .You then have to switch the on off button to get it back to stand by again.If you leave it on stand by
for approx 1 hour you can get the tv to switch on and change channel useing the romote untill the set is off over night and
your back to square one. the set has no channel up/down
buttons or other controls its all done on the romote zapper
The set is a uk model and runs on 240 volts ac @50Hz.
I am not sure how old the set is.
I hope you can help
thanks

The power supply may be a little different to use the set in your country but essentially the TV is going to be the same.
I suggest you check out this website:

and look at Paragraph 22.10. It explains it better than I can.
