Mitsubishi 28" TV

My TV was in storage for 1 year while my new house was being built. Now it seems the color is all off. The greens are more of a brownish tone. There is no color setting to change on the front of the TV. Is there some type of color setting on the inside (if I take the rear cover off)? TV is about 10 years old. Is this something that I can do myself, or is it left to professionals?

Sorry I don't have the model number handy. I will try to get it tonite.

Thumbs up

The problem with storage is that components age unequally and seldom do you ever get one back that runs as good as it did before. In this case, I would say the picture tube would be the problem. The tube has aged from sitting and now the color balance is disturbed because the electron guns are not operating at the same levels (one color is predominant).

Check Paragraph 21.6 at this website. This should give you some insight on the situation and offers a fix for the problem.
