Price for repair Job VS-5055 and is it worth getting fix?

I have this Mits VS-5055 projection TV and was wondering if it is a high voltage problem what I should expect to pay a repairman for fixing it.
I have a guy coming for a service call for $50 and then what ever it cost to fix the problem.
Just wanted to make sure there isn't a reset switch some where that could reset the high voltage to the tubes.
Any info would be great or a web site that could help me out.
Thanks again
Tony

Thumbs up

It could have been a surge. Chances are that the HOT
(Horizontal Output Transistor) shorted and the overload circuit has kicked in.

You've made the right move by calling the tech.

If this is the problem what should I expect the Service guy to be a fair charge for this repair?
Any ballpark figures
Thanks again

No ball park figures from me. It varies from site to site. You are in New Yawk so expect to be drawn and quartered in the process.
Your bill is going to be in the high three figure catagory.
