rca 36 " some type of frequency problem

Hello, I have recently aquired a 36" rca television. (ctc 186/7)
before I became the owner, it was dropped, only inches, but it caused damage, I have been unable to contact the repair place to find out what was replaced. but since then, it goes through periods of power on and off sort of. it always comes back on fast, but it sometimes shrinks both horizon and vert. but I have recently discoved that it depends on what you watch. a cheap commercial, like the buck a day commercial, it acts up really bad, but a dvd no problems! I can record a bad commercial on the vcr, and everytime I play it back the tv goes nuts. dosen't seem to matter what type of video input I use. any suggestions out there?
its a f35670MB its actually a 25"

Thumbs up

Good Afternoon, junior1519:

I could explain it but feel you need to listen to the experts on a dropped TV. This site is one of my favorites:

http://an.hitchcock.org/repairfaq/REPAIR/F_tvfaq.html

Pay attention to section 28.11. Good stuff here!
