samsung audio good one
hi smokey!!
my own 52" samsung 2 yrs old has an audio hum (from the speakers) when ever the coax from the cable is hooked up, i never thought much of it sence i got rid of cable and went with satellite via s-video cable. now my father in law bought last years model samsung 54" he had the same exact problem... but also ended up going with satellite tv. now just this last weekend my borther inlaw bought this years 54" samsung, and guess what.... same problem low audio hum (sounds like ground loop). the hum is there no matter what input you are on.. have you heard of this problem befor? is there a quick fix?
as always!! thanks much!!

Good Morning, Sentry6:
That is one of the on-going problems with Samsung and it is a design problem. There is some background on this issue that can be found at:

Not only are they seeing a 60 Hz hum bar in the video but the audio hum appears in most of the units when connected as you describe. And, yes, I would assume it is a ground loop problem inside the set.
