Any permits in starting a business at the net?

Greetings people!!!

Nowadays, there are many individuals engaged in the internet business. Just a sort of clarification; if you want to start an internet business with your sites; then, what are the requirements? Is there any permits/clearances to undergo before you can start.

Need a help on this topic. Thanks and enjoy sharing your replies on this forum.

Most any business requires a permit, regardless of where you sell from or where you sell to. How long you can go before you get caught and fined is another question.

If you do any selling in your own state, you'd do well to pay heed to the tax man, get a license and collect taxes as appropriate.

If you live in a controlled area (such as a sub-division with an HOA), they may not even allow a home based business, even a mail only one.

Homeowners insurance also doesn't cover business assets, and it is very hard to find a business policy that covers home based businesses, especially if you even have one customer, vendor or supplier that comes to your home.
