Now that I have two online small businesses, I've recently been told that all a person has to do is google search my website and the domain name registrations and pull up my personal information such as telephone # and address.
In fact, some one has done that already to me, asking me if my home # was ###-###-####? Which did frighten me.
How do I get this information private?

Hi RMCHomeowner,
2 things to do ASAP
1 - Contact the company where you host your websites and ask them to set your registration as "private domain registration". Depending the hosting conditions you can / cannot set the privacy condition. Some host companies ask for additional $$$
Usually, when you set you website as private, users looking for info about your website are referred to myprivateregistration.com
2 - Go to Alexa the Web Information Company --> Go to your website info--> Following the instructions on the screen, edit / delete your websites' info

Mark,
Telephone and address are personal info and according with the user's post is exactly the info he is trying to mantain private
Check the security recommendations regarding telephone and address, not only for websites or e-business. Did you know that candidates are recommended to set only the cell phone numbers in their résumés?
