Duroc wall bulges at the bottom due to shower pan liner
Hello everyone,
This is for a stall shower in a rental property. Duroc was placed over the triple folds of the pan liner at the corners and it causing a bulge of about 1/4 at the last 6 to 8 inches of the bottom of the walls. I have already put the first coat of Redgard waterproofing and I like to know if the bulge will be detrimental for tiles. My plan was to install 12 x 24 porcelain and one inch mosaic tiles on the pan floor. Due to the bulge I was thinking of installing the 1 inch mosaic tiles up to where the bulge ends. I am debating as to whether demo the wall and start over by furring the studs or just live with it. What do you guys think?

If you want everything perfectly plumb like you would need it for wall tile, you would shim the studs.
