Aprilaire 560 Humidstat

I have an Aprilaire Humidfier. The humidfier works only when I turn all the way to the maximum setting on the humidstat. Does this mean humdistat is blown?

If humidstat requires replacement, how easy is it to replace? Thanks.

Aprilaire humidifier

You can find replacement parts and owner manuals at http://www.aprilaire.com/ I did not however see your model # listed. Contact them.

most humidistats are just a switch that closes on call for humidity, most are low voltage connections. should be easy to find a replacement

looked yours up, it is a low (24) volt humidistat and your unit is a bypass type. easy to find and replace
