Humidifer and dehumidifier

Humidifer and dehumidifier
I'm building a new home with a full, finished basement. I typically run a humidifer
in my current home during winter. I know basements usually need a de-
humidifier. What's the best setup? Put both on central hvac? Have deH in
basement and use room Humidifier on main floor? Thanks

Just put a good humidifier on the furnace and AC unit. Also put runs in the duct for heat and cool in the basement and return down there .This way the AC will take care to keep the humidity out of the basement for you . You dont need a dehumidifier there with the AC unit
