Honeywell humidifier solenoid

The solenoid (32001639-002) on my Honeywell humidifier (he220 I think) appears to be malfunctioning. I can get it to click with the controller, but it doesn't stop the water flow. Sometimes it squeals a little, but water still flows. Sometimes water under pressure sprays out of the outlet side. Can I disassemble it and fix it somehow, or should I just buy a new one? They appear to be anywhere from $58 to $100+ online.

Is there an exploded picture anywhere of how it should be assembled?

One some solenoid you should be able to take apart and clean.. It maybe build up with lime, and it's not seating all the way.

Sounds high for a water solenoid valve Like jay said try to clean it if you can . They get a lime and calicium built up in the them there. Can try and go http://www.heatcoolparts.com see what they have for it.

Honeywell HE360 and current sensing relay problems

I am getting some strange behavior with honeywell he360 and the aprilaire A50 current sensing relay. I have everything wired correctly -- current sensing relay on common lead from blower motor -- one wire from CSR to the humidifier, the other to the humidistat -- wire connecting humidistat and humidifier (yes, using the yellows only). Yesterday, this was all working fine, but overnight, the humidifier seems to be running non-stop, even when the blower is off. The only way to get it to stop is to either unplug it, or to turn the humidistat down. Once I turn the humidistat up, it won't turn back on until the blower comes back on (this is good). I can turn off power to the air handler at the circuit breaker and the humidifier continues to run. It's almost as if the relay doesn't sense when current is no longer flowing and open the circuit. I have the common wrapped around the relay twice (no more slack) and that doesn't make any difference. It is also about 4-5" from the transformer. Should I try splicing more wire in the common and wrapping it more? What did I do wrong, what else can I try, or is the relay bad? Thanks for any help... Issues with Honeywell TruSteam

3 weeks ago, I had a local contractor install the 12 gallon version of the honeywell trusteam humidifier system. Mine has the vision iaq humidistat, the small wiring panel and the outdoor temperature sensor. I have had nothing but issues. first, the outdoor temperature was always off - way off - about 10 degrees off. then the installer determined that they were using the wrong temperature sensor. a change to the correct sensor fixed it. the unit is configured to run independent of the heating system and turns on the fan automatically. for 3 weeks now (?!), my system has been running non-stop and the humidity in the house is barely above 29% relative humidity! the vendor has been here 4 times - looked over everything and checked everything and still we cant get the darn thing to work! my house is just about 5k sq ft. with hard wood floors on the first level. but i cant imagine that this thing has to run that long just to bring the humidity in the house to the 50% i set it for. even my old aprilaire unit could keep a 45% humidity level with no effort at all. what could be going on here?
