kenmore 18 litre 1.5 years old not working right

Took it in to repair shop, bring it home works great first day,get full bucket within 6 hours.EMpty bucket ,replace, put back on, move to new location, no water after many hours. Bring to repair shop, same thing said, bring home, same thing full bucket day one, nothing day two. The fan stays on all days blowing cold air. The compressor comes on for 40-50 seconds ever 5 mins, whats up with that? THere is plenty of moisture to be suckingup. DO'nt want to bring to repair shop for a third time. What's up with the machine, anything I can do to make the compressor run for much longer than the 50seconds. FIlters are clean, it had a full service repair and cleaing a week ago. No warranty of course. About to give up. Can't find manaul, anyone have one they'd like to email me would be great, or a website to download one. ANyhelp or advice greatly appreicate.d THank you

Thanks for your reply Jay

I've called sears and they'd like to charge me 999 for a manual and 350 to send it. Nice of them , right ? NOT

The repair guy claims it works great at the shop, sure he only has it running for an hour at best, than off it goes and we go get it again.

Had it running all day long today and got an tablespoon of water, and yet the water is still running off the inside of my double glazed windows,.its pouring down rain in vancouver again and oh and did I mention we have a 100 gallon fish tank too, so yeh theres moisture in the air to be sucked up

WE need to figure out how to keep the compressor running longer as its only staying on briefly.

Checked the coils and they didn't have frost on them, they were wet. The filter is clean, all the wires are connected. Fan works great.

What's the model on the unit?

have you tried to do a search on it and see if you can download one on line?

only think you can do is put a meter on the unit, and see if you are losing power going to the compessor or not..

the model # off the inside is
c675-25348-0k
serial # is 09642886ek
there is also a # of c749 not sure what that is.

I only have dial up and have looked for a manual that I can print off, but I haven't found anything, or else I'm looking in the wrong area's. Every site I've checked leads me to another site ,to another site, than dead end.

We get power to the compressor and not losing any power,
maybe the termostat on it is turned up to high, and if lowered perhaps would suck out more water?

THe repair shop said they had to recalabrate it and change the degrees by 5, whatever that means.

Just got it back from the shop again, had the thermostate replaced, another 30.00 but its still not collecting water, not very impressed, now I've spent 60.00 and its still not working. But the compressor still isn't staying on long enough to collect water
