Question Wiring Question for HE360A

I am installing a Honeywell HE360A humidifier on a Trane TUX100C948B5 furnace. From previous threads I gather that the best way to power the unit is to connect a standard receptacle to the HUM or EAC leads from the furnace junction box then plug the humidifier into this. Is this correct, and if so I see the hot lead in the box but nothing for the neutral - do I connect a new wire to the HUM or EAC tab in the furnace control box and run it to the receptacle? What does the humidistat connect to?

That's right about the plug. Run the brass screw wire to the EAC wire, and then the silver screw wire to the neutral wire that is in that box. You may need a bigger wire nut to take the extra wire.

The EAC/HUM wire is already tied to the board, so you don't need to do anything down there.
