Proper Humidity Setting
Anyone know about the range of humidity ones house should be? Especially in the winter.

Humidity should be maintained year round between 35-55%. Humidity tends to vary among rooms. Purchase a hygrometer (sold where thermometers are sold). Too much humidity, dehumidify. Too little humidity, humidify.

Depends on where you are out of, and how cold it gets..
I run ours now around 45%, but when it gets colder out, then it'll be lower since I have an outdoor sensor on my control.. You don't want your windows wet.
Ideal is around 35% to 40% in the cold winter, and around 45 to 50% in the summer.. Anything over 50% is risk of mold growing.
