Aprilaire 700 wiring to furnace

I had a new furnace (Kenmore 90%- single stage) installed
1-14-08. They reinstalled my 1 yr old Aprilaire humidifier but wired it so that the humidifier comes on (water and fan) as soon as the inducer motor begins to run. The blower doesn't come on for about a minute so the humidifier is blowing mist over the A coil during that time. They claim this is according to Aprilaire instructions, but the Aprilaire manual says the huimidifier is only supposed to run when the blower comes on. Will runnning the humidifier before the blower comes on cause problems in the furnace? Thanks

No, there is no trouble with that running a couple of min before the blower kicks in... ALso, there is no mist coming from the pad.... If there is... you have something wrong.

Aprilaire wiring to furnace

I made an assumption that if water was flowing to the humidifier, and the humidifier fan was blowing on the water pad that it created a "mist" to blend with the blower air--incorrect assumption? Thanks

No, there is no mist that blows out.. just evperation of the water into the air flow.
