Help on Leak, Honeywell HE220a

So I installed this myself today.

I turn on my furnace, it kicks in, water starts dripping around the solenoid. Its coming from the water out to the humidifier side. The thin black hose that goes up into the unit to get water into the system. I tried using a small metal clamp, and all that did was puncture the thin hose.

Any suggestions? I tried a ziptie too, but it still leaked.

Thanks

Dave

There no needs for clamps and what not.

Is the leak coming out under the hose going over the barbed fitting?

The hose may be streached out too much, trim the hose down about 1/4" and try to refit it over the barbed elbow.

I do think I had it stretched pretty tight, I had it wraped around the back side of the filter and then out.

Thanks for the quick reply!
