Wiring question, 24V transformer to furnace
I plan on installing my new Aprilaire 700A this weekend. My only question is how I hook up the supplied 24v transformer to the furnace. My furnace is a Lennox G43UF series. I would wire the transformer to the HUM/Neutral or EAC/Neutral but both only come on when heat is called for. This will be supplying constant 24v power to the humidistat(R & C terminals).
Can I wire the transformer to the power that enters through the make up box and screw/thread the transformer right to the make up box?? Black to Black/ White to White and no ground wires to worry about correct?
I plan on wiring the rest of the unit like Diagram #1 (pg1) of this pdf: http://www.alpinehomeair.com/related...20Diagrams.pdf
Thanks for your help.
