Baseboard Heat - Humidifier Recommendations

We have hot water baseboard heat. My wife complained about dryness and I checked. In house humidity is never above 35% and usually hovering around 20%. Is this normal? I ask since I grew up with forced air. We always had a humidifier and am familiar with the fact that forced air does dry as air flows. But we were told that radiator and baseboard heat is "gentle" and did not dry air requiring a humidifier.
I purchased a small Honeywell QuickSteam which sits on her nightstand by the bed and really do not want to have a unit per room. I have seen some 'whole house' units that are the size of a cabinet and am not sure I have the room nor wish the intrusion.

Hey, thanks. Looks like what I am looking for. And it can go in the basement which is really great.
