Hello, I want to install a Humidifier on my furnance this year. I have a Bryant 310AAV066135AAJA Model furnace. I was thinking of installing a generalaire 1099 LHS. I can handle the plumming aspect of it but I am concerned about the wiring. I don't want to ruin anything. The diagram in the humidifier manual shows just hooking the solenoid wires to the ACC and the other to the humidistat which then goes to the thermostat. Am i missing something or is that all i need to wire?

thanks in advance.

Your furnace has a 24V humidifier output I believe, but I will have to check. (strange) The link you provided shows the solenoid valve is 115V, this is not the norm. I think you would be better off with a unit that has a 24V solenoid valve. It will much safer to wire and easier to find humidistats for it if yours ever needs replaced.
If you go to this website it shows a different 1099 humidifier from General aire. I question the humidifier you are looking at since the link I provided is to General aire's website. I don't like general aire as much as aprilaire.

Ok I took some pics of the control panel. I know I wire to HUM. Should I splice into the dark blue wire for power for the when the heat is on or wire to spare 1? see pics of control panel
