Nest thermostat and Aprilaire 1730A dehumidifier

Hi everyone,

Any tips for wiring the Aprilaire 1730A whole-house dehumidifier into an existing furnace, with the second-generation Nest?

This is the wiring diagram for the dehumidistat. From what I can work out, I need to connect these two wires to a 6AZU2 relay, then connect the relay to the furnace C terminal and the Nest * terminal. Is that correct?

Then the dehumidifer has the following connections to control the furnace fan. Am I right in thinking I can just ignore all this, and set the Nest to turn on the fan when the dehumidifier is in use (via the Pro Setup menu)?

Thanks in advance,

Yes, you are thinking the correct way.

I have not been around this unit, so if it don't work when you wire the R and G's, then wire it up.
