Aprilaire 600M Replacement
Hello,
I replace my old Aprilaire 460 because the water was constantly running. I purchased the model that took its place. The Aprilaire 600M. Everything is hooked per directions but it is not working. The control is receiving 24v but the solenoid is not? Any ideas? I know the solenoid is not bad b/c we gave it direct power and it opened. Strangely the control receives the 24v when it is in the off position. It gets nothing when the knob is turned to 45%. I just can't figure out what is wrong. Help.

Aprilaire 600M Humidifier Wiring Help Needed!
Hello,
Does anyone know where the red and white wires go into the furnace? Currently we have the red wire going to the furnace area then out to the relay then to the blower. The white wire looks like it is going into a thicker blue wire which appears to be going to the gas ignitor switch. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
I believe the other areas are hooked up correctly. From the solenoid, the red wire goes in the humidstat control and out then down to the furnace area as described above. From the solenoid, the white wire bypasses the control and goes to the furnace area as described above.
Thanks for any suggestions.

It is the manual humidistat for the Aprilaire 600M. I believe we figured it out. It is wired correctly. The white wire was also is tied in with the transformer so we have a complete circuit. Tonight we bypassed the relay and everything works so we have a bad relay. Ordered that and now just waiting for it to come in. Thank you.
