Cool VisionPRO IAQ with IEM module...adding Aprilaire 1730a

Hi,
I have a VisionPRO IAQ with IEM hooked up and running properly for my Honeywell TrueSteam humidifier. I am adding a Aprilaire1730A dehumidifier to the my venitilation system and was looking for some help wiring to my IEM and controlling the dehumidifier from my VisionPro system. Last time I had questions like this, Jay and others took me to the promise land with pictures and detailed diagrams. I know that settings must be changed in the VisionPro Iaq and the IEM is locatied right next to the new Aprilaire 1730a system in my basement.

Can you help me wire this to IEM and change the settings properly in the visionpro?

I will be reading my documentation from manufacturer as well trying to prepare.

Thanks so much.

Ok, from the 1730a you will find 2 terminals labeled remote those go to the DHM 1 and 2 terminals on the EIM

Settings
379 = 3
384 = 0

That Worked Wonderfully. Thanks. is There A Way To Make The Dehumidifier Go Less Than 40 Percent? The Thermostat Won't Let Me Go Less.

Also, IF I Add A Register To A Room For Dehumidification Only, ShouldI PUT It Low Our High On The Wall? does Out Matter?

You don't want less than 40% humidity so no it won't let you.

If adding to a room to you would need a supply and return both. They should be low for return and high for supply.

The aprilaire 1730A comes with a thermostat. Do I abandon the thermostat that it comes with if hooking up to the VisionPro IEM? The thermostat aprilaire comes with has different dryness level settings which probably turn the unit on higher and lower....I might need to set the dryness level to a higher power. Does it work this way? Is anyone familiar with aprilaire product?

No, it does not have multiple stages... it is either on or off. Abandon the one it came with and wire as I instructed.
