Aprilaire 700A Install Questions

I only option I have to install this humidifier is on the supply side of the furnace on the rear side of the unit because the flue pipe exiting the front of the furnace does not give enough clearance to open the humidifier once it is installed, Installing on either side of the supply is not an option because of the return duct and the wall clearance on the other side. My question is that since the 700A will be facing the A coil blanking panel is that okay as long as the 700A is at least 1 foot above the top surface of the A coil?

For wiring, am I supposed to remove the G wire from the furnace terminal strip and connect to G connection on the ADHC. Then connect the thermostat G wire to GF on the ADHC? Do you recommended using this option so that the humidifier runs even without heat?

If I don't want this option, do I just leave my furnace G connection intact and not connect anything to the GF connection on the ADHC?

Thanks so much for everyone's help!

Welcome to the forums.

One foot above the "A" coil will work just fine. I think mine's a little closer and works great.
I'd recommend not having the humidstat turn on the blower as it's mostly a waste of water. Have the humidifier only come on with the heat. Leave the G wire intact and not to the h'stat.
