Aprilaire Model 60 humidity too low

My indoor humidity is 25%, unit is set to max and says it is 43%. Wife wants more humidity!

It is about 32 degrees +- here. Today I put some insulation on the outside temp sensor to see iff that helps.

Any ideas on adjustments on the board that will increase the humidity ?
Thanks, Bo Barry

Welcome to the forums.

I don't know if there is an adjustment inside that humidistat.
Is the humidifier actually running all the time or cycling ?

I see several adjustments on the pc board, but don't have the schematics.
I put insulation on the sensor and think it's working.
I have the fan set to run (without heat on necessarily) to get humidity up, and it's now running. (cool air)
Wife will be happy if I can get it up to 45%, makes her sinuses happy.

making progress

I put foam insulation around the outdoor temp sensor, and now the humidistat says 35% and is running. However my pad looks kinda bad and the humidity isn't increasing even with water flow.

I have a new pad ordered and hopefully humidity,

The pad is critical to proper delivery. Make sure to put correct end up..... if marked.
