Nest with Humidifer

Hello,
I just got a Nest and would like to add on my humidifier to it as well

The wires i have are R, G W, Y

Attached is how I have me Humidifier attached with my current T-stat.

I use a Aprilaire51 Current Sensing Relay, when the Blower starts and the Humidstat calls for humidity the Humidifier turns on.

How can I change this up so the Nest turns on the Humidifier?

You can run the humidifier directly from the furnace provided the transformer in the furnace isn't overloaded.

Here's the diagram you need to follow. One wire from humidifier goes to C and the other goes to the * on the nest. Then the * function gets programmed in the stat programming.

C Wire

Ok so I traced the C wire and it as well as the Y go off to the outside condenser. The Y has 2 wires terminated on it.

With that I shouldn't have to worry about overload correct?

That's correct.....two wires now on Y and two wires now on C. Soon to be three wires on C.

C and * ....... not C and Y.
