400 series aprilaire humidifier not working

My aprilaire humidifier is not getting any water. It has a manual humidistat. I checked the voltage at the two connections on humidistat and it's around 24v with the furnace running. I get no voltage at the connection to the solenoid. I've already replaced the solenoid, thinking that was the problem. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums.

When the humidistat calls for humidity..... the switch closes and you should read 0v across it. It sounds like it's not closing. You can short those two wires to test the humidifier.

Which two wires? The ones connected to the humidistat?

Figured it out, jumped the wires connected to the humidstat. Turned on furnace and solenoid turned on the water to humidifier. New humidistat on the way.
