Aprilaire 600 automatic wiring to Carrier 59TP6 furnace - Need Check

Hello,

I am installing an Aprilaire 600 automatic humidifier to Carrier Performance 96 furnace. Can someone please help me with the wiring or check if this is correct?

Humidistat: Furnace: Solenoid (Humidifier):

W-------------------------W/W1
gf (not used)
G (not used)
H--------------------------HUM 24V

Can you please check if this is correct.

Thank-you

Welcome to the forums.

This method will work.....
Humidistat: Furnace: Solenoid (Humidifier):

R -------------------------R
C--------------------------COM 24V------------------------S
W-------------------------W/W1
gf (not used)
G (not used)
H--------------------------HUM 24V
H------------------------------------------------------------S
ODT---outdoor sensor
ODT---outdoor sensor

An alternate way it can be connected if your thermostat is set up for two stage heat. ......

R -------------------------R
C--------------------------COM 24V------------------------S
W------------------------- HUM 24V
gf (not used)
G (not used)
H-------------------------- R (jump to R)
H------------------------------------------------------------S
ODT---outdoor sensor

Thank-you PJMax for your help.

I installed the humidifier today and everything works fine.

The first method that you mentioned was the one I used.
