Nest 3rd Gen: humidifier connection

Running Payne system and conversion to Nest 3rd Gen is straight forward. (i've converted a few to Nest in friend's homes). However this Payne system has a separate 2 wire Humidstat (Carrier box). Its a fairly old school and standard Model 884021B Humidity Controller (DNAGroup.com) 120/240VAC. I've attached pictures of the humidistat and the back of the current thermostat. Welcome any advice on connecting the humidifier control into the new Nest - not clear if i can run direct or if I need to install a relay.

Welcome to the forum.

I moved you to your own thread.

Your pictures are nice but not very helpful. It looks like you have a standard two wire thermostat but you left no info on what's powering the humidifier or what humidifier you're using.
