Testing emi board on Lenox heater for 24 volts to humidifier

I want to test the voltage for humidifier 0n emi board. Which terminal will give me the reading. I don't want to short out the board. I am thinking u2 and c. Honewell he220A1019 to board. I ll try and attach pics

Yes EIM Electronic interface module I will try at post pics. I have 34 volts at the EIM on one lead only? Don t know what to check next. No other controls between EIM and solenoid on hon Elwell humidifier.

You can't measure voltage on one lead or wire.
Voltage must be measured between two points even if one point is ground.

Thanks, I tried two terminals from the solenoid to board but it was tight to reach in there. I will try again. I thought it was just touching one which I never saw before. There are very long leads from the solenoid to the board. I was going to cut them and check power on one side and then ohms on the solenoid. Reconnect with wire nuts and let u know the readings. Thanks for answering so quickly. It is a two stage Lenox heater, if that matters. Water is getting to solenoid just not opening. 24vac 6watts rated on humidifier .
