internal insulated plenum and bypass humidifier install

I'm installing an Aprilaire 600 bypass humidifier. It seems straight forward even for a rookie diy guy, plenty of videos of installs to follow. I'm installing the unit on the return duct, when I drilled to cut my opening to mount the unit I found insulation on the other sided of the sheet metal. It seems that both the return and supply have internal insulation... I see this as a concern; a possible trap for moister. I did not see this covered in any videos or mfgr installation instructions. I would appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Thanks.

Guess I found my answer, even the HVAC company I bought it from with 30 yrs of experience doesn't have an answer other than make sure you're H2O supply is hot water. I'd rather deal with dry air and filling and refilling portable humidifiers than deal with mold!
