Can't find terminal strip in old Bryant

Any help you can offer is much appreciated.

My husband, who is actually very handy, is in our basement working on installing an Aprilaire 500 whole house humidifier. Our Bryan air handler and heat pump are old at 16 years. He has everything connected except one major problem: the wiring.

He cannot figure out where the terminal strip is located. Is it such a simple unit that it is not accessible? We have researched the model Bryant Model fb4anfo36 and cannot find anything on locating the terminals. We cannot find a manual online.

Any advice besides hiring it out?

Thanks.

Welcome to the forums.
Thread moved to humidifier forum.

Most air handlers don't have a terminal strip. They use bare wire tails and wirenuts. Follow where the thermostat wiring enters in the air handle. That is the connection point. It's not always easy connecting a humidifier to a heat pump system. The most effective way to activate the humidifier is to use an airflow sensor or blower motor current sensor.

This should be the manual for your unit.
