drain issue

Have a generic de-humidifier that allows you to connect a hose so water will drain into a drain rather than the resevour provided. For some reason water does get to the house, the tank fills. I have checked the hose, I have checked the attachment and you can feel moisture, just do not know why water will not move to the tube/hose. Any ideas as to what to look for or what to do? Thanks in advance.

Take the hose off and look to see if there is a plastic knockout inside the pipe nipple.

I will do that but I am almost sure we did do that at the same time we checked the house for blockage. I will advise, thanks for the quick response.
