Ecobee3 Aprilaire 760 Hookup
Just want to make sure before I book my aprilaire 760 humidifier to my new ecobee3
I want to completely get rid of old manual humidishumidistat.
The humidistat right underneath my thermostat.
Been reading many posts about wires going to furnace control board
The way mine is set up two wires from humidifier go to humidistat...I've read this is because the 760 has its own trqnsfortra so no need for power from furnace board
So do I just need to take 2 wires from humidistat and put them into the acc+ and acc-...does it matter which one goes wjere..I didn't think so because reading polarity doesn't matter on 24v...
Also read where some installs need a relay..don't think I need one..
First time poster..any help would be appreciated

Welcome to the forums.
It looks like the two humidifier wires go directly to the humidistat...... if that is not correct.... let me know.
Your picture is of a Nest thermostat. I'm guessing you are replacing that with an Ecobee3.
Yes..... you can connect the two humidifier wires directly to the E3's ACC+ and ACC- terminals and there is no polarity.
Don't forget..... the E3 needs a C (common connection).
Also...... program the E3 for two wire humidifier use before connecting the humidifier to it.
