Wait 5000 humidifier installation question

Hello All,

is it okay to install the wait 5000 humidifier on the backside of the cold air duct with the bypass tube going to the backside of the warm air duct (i.e. when facing the front of the furnace and cold air return, the humidifier, bypass tube and collar would be on the opposite side or backside)? There is no room to install the bypass tube and collar on the front of the warm air duct because of an AC coil. Thanks for your help in advance.

Welcome to the forums.

The humidifier part can be on the supply or return side. Front or back of furnace.
Do you have the install manual ? It's covered pretty well in there.

Thanks PJ. Yes I have the manual but none of the various installation examples show the unit being installed in the backside of the furnace and return air. It just shows to install the humidifier on the return air exiting and the bypass collar on the warm air supply ducting. Wanted to make sure I could do this but on the backside.
