Aprilaire 600A from A58 humidstat to old 60 humidistat.

I have a similar issue with my Aprilaire 600, and have tried the above wiring, but still cannot get the solenoid going. Here is how it' wired up:

R an C are connected to a 24v transformer on the side of the furnace, which is connected to the power supply 'before' the furnace control.
W is connected to W on the furnace.

I have the R on the humidistat connected to the Solenoid as well.
A jumper from the C to the 'left H on the humidistat, and the 'right' H connected to the other solenoid wire.

There is also a 'Com 24v' terminal on the furnace board. That red wire was previously connected to the 'Cf' on the old 58 Humidistat. now not connected to anything.

W was previously connected to the 'W/G' on the 58.

Welcome to the forums.

I separated this as your humidistat is not like the A60 as shown in the thread you posted in.
You have an Aprilaire 60 old style.... no A & B terminals.

I posted a picture of the 58 I had previously for reference, as well as pictures of the 60 I just installed. I need help on the 60 wiring.

Ok.... so the last picture is the humidistat you want to use ?

I don't believe that's an A60. It only has ten terminals.
The A60 has eleven terminals.

The box it came in said 60. It actually has 9 terminals.

I think your pic might be the 62?

Here is the book that came with it. But I'm trying to wire up without the extra 24vac transformer like I've seen you describe in other similar threads

The wiring between the transformer, R and C and the HUM terminals is not polarity sensitive.
The cable/wiring that goes from W and C on the humidistat to W and C on the furnace board must be followed.

This is your old wiring which is ok. Just connect the C and W.
