Which Lake in AZ has the best fishing?

I am interesting in purchasing another boat and thinking of fishing in Lake Powell, Lake Havasu and perhaps Lake Mohave.
I grew up fishing for Striped Bass as a kid on salt water and would love to catch more of them.
I will just stay on board the boat, a small cabin cruiser, for days at a time to make the trip worth it.

Vic (Gunguy45) is from out your way; don't know if he's a fisherman or not. Hopefully he'll see this.

It appears Havasu gets trampled with people during the summers from what I can tell.
But Powell and Mohave seem to have less traffic for the area.

I'll talk to my neighbor, he fishes, but he's also gone a lot, so it might be a while. Actually you might want to check our local paper and send an email to the wildlife writer Don Martin or check with our local Game and Fish office.

Here's a link to the local paper...Kingman Daily Miner - Kingman, Arizona they may be able to put you in touch.

Sent a message to my neighbor...but may be a few days before a response.

TNX. I am going to run up to Lake Powell Wed/Thur and look around this week.
I should be able to get some information and good look around while I am there.

Not sure Powell would be best? There are other places lower down that might be better. All depends on temps and stocking. Kinda late in the year to know for sure.

Neighbor says this time of year Havasu or Mohave. Depends on the season and water temps he said.
