Need advice on vole / mole control

For the past 2 years I have used 5 or 6 bait stations around my property with rat poison inside. Obivously it hasn't worked. They are totally killing my lawn in certain areas. I have called many lawn companies around here and no one does this sort of thing, just mosquito control. I am very good with the fertilizers and bug control. Half my lawn is surrounded by a mulch bed, and they tunnel under that too, but I can't seem to get rid of them. 2 weeks ago I went out and my lawn was squishy from them tunneling. I need a solution guys. I don't care if it involves bleach, gasoline, motor oil, antifreeze, soap, water, whatever. And then in March after the snow melts I have the trails everywhere... awful. I want my green lawn back.

Thanks.

Have to kill the grubs on which they're feeding. Traps are about the only way to otherwise affect them.

Our cats used to deposit them on the front porch on a regular basis, I guess the cats thinned them out

I honestly really don't think I have a bug issue. I put the stuff down every 8 weeks. I will put 10 traps out tonight... only reason I didn't do it before was catching other things like mice or something.

Put some regular mouse traps out yesterday. Let's see what happens.

Mouse traps? Where?

You have to put traps into the active tunnels. I've never heard of anyone using mouse traps for this....

If you are positive that you have moles and not voles, gophers, etc then try this bait. Moles eat worms. I’ve seen these “worms”, not this brand though, at Tractor Supply and the big box hardware stores. It all depends on if your state allows them to be sold there.

Rodent baits that are geared for mice/rats will not appeal to moles. Hope this helps.
