Also any type of salad lettuce that you would eat will work as well as the green part of any vegetable a human would eat like carrot tops, radish tops, kale, brussel sprout leaves... They also eat grass and I've had them go for my pelletized Koi food.
If you are outside the city limits a rifle or shotgun works well. If they aren't out when you are looking for them try near sunrise or sunset. They are usually active late in the day and early in the morning and seek out shelter during the hotter part of the day.

Love the taste of rabbit, but these are really small. I used to do a lot of rabbit hunting when I was a kid in the 60's. If they were just a little bigger....
Although if I catch them alive, I'm not sure my wife would let me kill them anyway. The only way she wants to see meat is cut and wrapped, ready for the freezer.
