I have them in my basement, and right now I am using the glue traps to control them. Any good sprays that would work well with these ugly creatures ? I assume they are coming from the outside. Are these creatures a common problem with most home owners ? Thx -TBucket

There's a squirrel that likes to feed here in the trees, and the problem is that my cats will hear it and sit at the base of whatever tree it's in. The ensuing racket alerts me to the problem. Right now it's very hot where I live, and though I drive the cats away when I am aware of the problem, I'm concerned that the squirrel is trapped sometimes. What I want to do is rig something up with a pulley so that I can move food and water up to where the squirrel can get at it. I know this can be done in such a way that it would work, but I can't seem to figure it out - yesterday I spent hours trying before I gave up. It seems so idiotic - the pulley is what has me stumped. Anyone know how to assemble such a thing? I can get up into the squirrel's favorite tree with an extension ladder, it's a matter of the pulley and how to rig it up. Thanks in advance for any help.
