rats - need some advice

Hi everyone,

Seems like I have a bit of a rat problem... noticed some gnaw marks and droppings. I was thinking of buying one of the electric zapper traps and/or electric pest repellers. Any advice as to whether these devices work effectively? Any and all ideas or comments would be appreciated! Thanks!

Actually there is no scientific info/tests that show they do work. I have been to numerous home that have the utrasonics plugged in and still have an infestation. Dont waste your money. The best and most efficient way is to close up holes around the home and then snap trap the remaing ones inside. You will not have a problem after that.

Appreciate the advice! I'm going to try the standard route (sealing, trapping) as well as the peppermint cottonballs. I'll let you all know how it turns out. Thanks!
