Stupid tree eating deer
I am looking for the best possible means of keeping the darn deer off of my 100 tree windbreak I planted last year. Electric fence? Deer repellents? Someone told me that Dove soap works but it didn't. Help!!!! Before my trees are gone. I have lost 5 or 6 already.
Also, I can't shoot the deer b/c of a certain legal situation.

If there is a drout deer seem to like anything you are watering. Somehow they know...
A fence is the best way I know to keep deer away but it's exensive and ugly. I have had 90% sucess running two strands of 150lb fishing line about 2ft and 3ft off the ground. Make sure they are several feet away from your trees so they cannot lean over and continue eating. During the night the deer bump into the fishing line and move elsewhere.
An electric fence may be fun.
