Ants

For some strange reason, one section of my lawn seems to have a number of large ant hills.

I need to get rid of them because of my flower garden....

What are the best options for long term eradication ?

Ants are ubiquitous, you're never going to get rid of them forever. There are lots of products that will control them available at your local home center.

ants

Those little suckers are welcome to the rest of my property - just not my roses. I'm going to try some granules that are supposed to keeo them away.

Anthills in the garden

Try sprinkling a homemade powder composed of 2/3 granulated sugar & 1/3 Borax which is a clothes washing additive & available in the detergent aisle of the supermarket. 20 Mule Team Borax. The ants track it back to their nest & that's it. Not harmful to plants, kids, animals, or environment. Will wash away with repeated rainfalls.
