Finding Dead Ants Indoors
I'm finding dead ants in my home at the rate of 3 to 10 a day. They are black and smaller than carpenter ants. What are they, where are they coming from and what do I do? This in New York and the ouside temperatures are in the 30's. Thanks in advance.

Where are you finding them? Near cabinets on the floor? The bathroom? Or just all over the place? So...you're not sure exactly if they are ants or not? Can you post a pic?

They are ants as I described above. They are in different parts of the house but mostly in the dining room which has a crawl space below it. Sorry, can't post picture.
