Large FLIES keep showing up daily in bedroom???
Almost every day I notice a large fly in our bedroom. They are easily caught (and flushed) but I am trying to figure out where they are coming from and why they are there.... All the windows are closed as it is cold here in NY... Please help!

Flies can lay eggs in cracks and crevices around windows and doors, in attics, wall voids, or other undisclosed location. As the temperatures rise, flies appear. Sealing all cracks and crevices around doors and windows and vents will help with exclusion. Fine mesh screening on vents can be helpful.

The first step is to figure out what bug you have, and that will help answer some of your questions. You might want to save one and have an exterminator take a look at it or look it up in a book/online to identify it.

"A large fly." These are probably cluster flies, which love to overwinter inside homes. They are a little larger than your average house fly.
