little bugs in home in UK

Can anyone help? I have trawled through numerous website to attempt to identify the lttle critters!
They are small brown and white stripped no more than a couple of milimeters in length with a hardish outer skeleton, I tend to find them on curtains or on walls. Its not like its an infestation or anything serious its just annoying not knowing what they are and if they are from the house or garden??? I have looked at similar things on the web but nothing really fits carpet beetle is the nearest description I can find but does not match identically. Anyone have any suggestions???

Thank you so much for your help and advise about the website. I do infact now believe my bugs to be carpet bugs and can only assume it is a daily hoovering job for me to erradicate or is this not the answer, can you suggest anything else which my be available in the UK??

Cleaning is the best strategy, and insecticides can be used. Carpet beetles can be a challenge to control because they hide in obscure places. Inspect everything in the house for infestation. For more info:
