Red pepper-like stuff
Hi,
I have no idea where to post this but hope someone may have an answer. I have all tile floors and I have this stuff that looks like someone sprinkled red pepper on the floor. It appears mostly in the living room, although it has appeared in the hallway awhile back. Whatever it is appears in a circular pattern; there is no trail, it does not move and seems to come from nowhere. There is nothing directly above the area. I have examined the ceiling fan, found nothing and it does not appear to come from the ac vents. Using a hand lens it looks like tiny red pellets.
I put some of it in a plastic bag some time ago just to see if it would do anything. So far it hasn't. I suck it up in a vacuum that has a bag. It eventually comes back.
Any ideas?
