moles

Is there an effective way to get rid of moles? Tried poison peanuts, flooding out, burning out, nothing seems to work.

I am hearing of success when using the rubbery, gummy like fake earthworms that have a rodenticide in them. One brand is Talprid; I've seen another brand, same active ingredient, at Tractor Supply Company in the past. I've never used them, but since worms are the moles main diet, it would be worth a try. The poison peanuts would work if they ate them, but that's the problem.

They usually feed on grubs in your lawn so controlling the grubs often causes the moles to go elsewhere

I've heard of people having good results with traps, the key there being you have to find active tunnels

I started using a grub control product on my lawn several years ago. Since then I have had zero mole problems. I have other areas of my yard that I do not treat and there is quite a bit of mole damage there.
